Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta insurgent, has made some arguments as to why it would be challenging for a Christian to lead Nigeria.

It will be challenging for Christians to produce Nigeria’s president in the near future, according to Dokubo, who said that politicians who have pushed religion more are Christians.

Dokubo asserted on Facebook Live that Bola Tinubu, the incoming president, cannot make any changes.

“A Christian will have a very tough time winning the presidency of Nigeria today because Tinubu cannot make any changes, unlike what he accomplished in Lagos.

“The Muslim-Muslim ticket is now standing. Nothing that you can do will help.

“You never begin a conflict you can’t win.

“Christians are the ones who have promoted religion in everything in Nigeria,” he remarked.
