How Osinachi Nwachukwu died of domestic violence revealed, police arrest husband
Following the untimely death of Osinachi Nwachukwu, a prominent Nigerian gospel musician, it has been discovered that the artist died as a result of domestic abuse.
According to the TGPBAZE, Osinachi died on Friday night in an unidentified hospital at the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.
Earlier reports said she died of illness, but social media has been swamped with conflicting stories about how the singer experienced physical abuse with her spouse before to her death.
A source close to the deceased’s family revealed, on the condition of anonymity, that Osinachi was a victim of domestic abuse, characterizing her marriage as “hell on earth.”
“It is heartbreaking that, despite my advise, this lovely woman, who is undoubtedly a gift to the world, decided to die in that marriage,” she says. Everyone who knows her is aware that she has been in a lot of agony.
“There were great pains related to this marriage behind the smile you usually see on the altar when she is ministering and in her videos.” She was afraid of what the world would think about her as a music minister, yet she remained faithful to God until her death.
“I encouraged her to quit this marriage, but she insisted that everything would be OK. Her husband never encouraged her singing career, but she persevered and, with the aid of God and her pastor, she became well-known around the country. This should be a wake-up call to all those ladies who are going through agony and refuse to open out.”
She said that Osinachi, whose praise songs had touched people all over the continent and beyond, died on life support following her last struggle with her husband.
“The spouse is nothing more than a beast.” He continued to verbally abuse this woman. If you don’t see her (Osinachi) in church, it’s a sign that something has gone wrong. The most recent assault was a kick to the chest, which placed her in the hospital. “She had been on life support for five days before she died,” she stated.
According to the source, the deceased’s spouse, Peter Nwachukwu, has been detained by the FCT police command in response to social media uproar.
She demanded justice for the deceased, stating that all Nigerian women should band together to guarantee that the singer receives justice.
According to her, the suspect should face the full force of the law, and she calls on the Federal Government to act immediately and without hesitation to address domestic violence, which she says is becoming a trend in the country.
When TGPBAZE called the FCT police command on Sunday night, DSP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer, verified the arrest, adding the culprit is now in their custody.
“The individual, Peter Nwachukwu, is now in our custody,” she stated. A family member of the deceased filed a culpable homicide report at the Lugbe police station.
“We apprehended the suspect after receiving the report, and the investigation is still underway.” We intend to make our results public.”
